This park offers its visitors a relaxing place to have a picnic or an afternoon of outdoor grilling complete with a view of Lake Champlain. For those who are interested in other activities, Leddy Park has facilities for softball, soccer, tennis, basketball, biking, swimming, reading, woodland walking trails, running, ice hockey, skating, and broom ball. The Burlington bike path that goes into Colchester, VT, right through the park connecting you to the rest of Burlington’s beaches, downtown, Waterfront Park, and the bridge that takes the bike path into Colchester and out onto the Sandbard that stretches into Mallets Bay (part of Lake champlain).
