In memory of her life, a beautiful Swamp White Oak Tree was planted near her home by her loving husband, Ted Montgomery.
Walking into a room filed with architects, in the early 1980’s, front and center, a gorgeous brunette with a fabulous English accent, was organizing everyone to produce the Grand Ball, to be held later that year. Sarah, pregnant with her second child, Rosie, captured my attention. She gave me my most impossible photography job, with Rosie and a doll house with glowing yellow interior lights, and a hot ink blue gradient light in the background. So many walks, parties, Guy Fawkes bonfires, Shelburne Point swimming, tea parties and house tours. All my memories of every time I came to visit have her loving warm welcomes and friendly laughter. Sarah was always celebrating life, Ted’s work, and her children. She was always positive and an example of how to live for me to try to follow. Thank you for your wonderful gift to me of your friendship.
Much love. Carolyn
